FILE A · ORIGIN
The before.
I was a police officer first. I am a K9 handler now. Both jobs are physical in ways that nobody explains until you are already in the room with them. I was not ready. I was carrying weight I did not realize was weight. Stairs were a workout. Running a fence line was a panic. My body could do the job, but only barely, and "barely" is not a place I was willing to live for the rest of my career.
The truth is I wanted to be a K9 handler before I was ready to be one. That gap — between the version of me I was and the version of me the job needed — is the single most useful thing that has ever happened to me. It is the gap every client of mine shows up with. It is the gap I now know how to close.
FILE B · DECISION
The pivot.
I changed my lifestyle. Not in a New Year's way. In a "I cannot fail at this selection" way. Nutrition stopped being whatever was on the counter. Strength training stopped being something I did for two weeks every January. Both of them became part of my actual day, the way brushing my teeth is.
My appearance changed first because that's the thing people clock. My confidence changed second because the mirror started to back up what I felt inside the gym. My mental health and my energy changed last — and that is the change I will sell every single client I ever take. The body is the on-ramp. The brain is the destination.
When you don't feel like doing it, do it twice as hard.
— what I say to clients · what I say to myself
FILE C · NOW
The path forward.
I am newly ISSA-certified and building EV Personal Training as a way to put the shortcut I had to find the long way into other people's hands. I am still on shift. That is not a footnote — it is a feature. I am training the way I am asking you to train. I am eating the way I am asking you to eat. There is no version of me that profits from selling you something I would not run myself.
If that sounds like a person you'd hire — read the programs. If you want to talk first, send me a message. Either one is the right move.
// TIMELINE
SERVICE RECORD
Credentials with receipts.
Police officer · K9 handler
I was already in uniform but not in my body. Physical activity felt exhausting. I was carrying weight, doubt, and a job that was about to ask more of me than I had to give.
I wanted the K9 unit
Selection was not going to happen on the body I had. I changed my lifestyle — strength training became a daily routine, nutrition stopped being an afterthought. The change was physical first, mental second, professional third.
K9 handler · ISSA · 2026
Mental health and energy at all-time highs. Confidence is no longer borrowed from a filter. I am newly certified and building EV Personal Training so other women can take the same shortcut I had to find the long way.
WHAT I REFUSE TO DO
No fake numbers. No client doing what I won't.
I will not accept payment to provide a service that I know is unrealistic and not obtainable. I will not have a client doing something I am not willing to do myself. If a plan would not survive my Tuesday, it will not survive yours either — and I am not going to charge you for it.
This is the whole sales pitch. There is no second one.
UNEXPECTED FACT
she works the K9 unit
Most trainers have never had to outrun a fence line at 3 a.m. with 40 pounds of gear. The reason my programs are simple is because complicated programs do not survive the kind of week a real adult actually has.
